Econ Calendar
Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Although another report comes post-open, it’s not high-profile. And it’s certainly not as high-profile as the pre-open Employment Situation report. Its reaction should be cemented by the open.

Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights:The calendar is heavy again. Another private sector look at jobs is followed by another official metric. They’re interrupted by a currency development. Afternoon price action could become subdued, paralyzed by anxiousness ahead of Friday’s Employment Situation report.

Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: The texture of this week’s calendar is getting interesting. Private sector looks at the jobs market start coming ahead of Friday’s Employment Situation report. Bernanke’s two-day testimony continues with the Senate version – text of his prepared remarks will be released at 10:00, but probably not with much impact being the second day. Finally, the afternoon’s Beige Book release could tell the market as definitively as possible whether the rally on improving fundamentals got ahead of itself.

Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Quite a busy Tuesday this week. Two econ reports come simultaneously at 10:00, although only one is high-profile. But Bernanke’s semi-annual Humphrey-Hawkins testimony also starts then. It’s a two-day affair, starting with the House. The embargo will be lifted on sharing the prepared text of his opening comments moments before that.
