Bigger Picture
Livestock 11/19/2014
Wednesday”s Livestock reviews the January Effect candidates first (ARNA, ATTBF, BTU, CALL, CBIS, CDE, CLF, GBLX, GSK, NCT, OCN, PBR, RIG, SODA, WLT). The main theme was a reiteration of the warning not to try bottom-fishing or knife-catching new lows at this time of year.
Other stocks reviewed are:
DEWM — Raised the target.
SRNA — Wondering why all the excitement and volume haven”t yet translated into rising price.
CARA — Almost a January Effect candidate except for low float, has corrected back to its base.
MCIG — Hugging uptrending support, so can”t delay recovering if new lows are to be avoided.
ERBB — Targeting new lows at .0105.
INSY — New breakout trigger is above 42, since the recent breakout wasn”t confirmed.
GWPH — Late breakout of Ascending Triangle now testing 82.80 resistance.

Several observations to consider as the close approaches:
DEWM — Extending to fresh highs after last week”s 61.8% pullback to .0025. The target is being attacked in the .0059-.0065 area.
FITX — The room for noise above its 61.8% retracement bounce is .033-.036, which was pierced this morning. Its reaction down is testing the original 61.8% retracement, which was .0285. Closing any lower would signal the bounce had ended.
GBLX — Finally producing the pattern”s required new low. But beware of new lows at this time of year, which can extend indefinitely. A durable rally must be preceded by a bottoming pattern or some other setup that suggests the trend is ending.
IGRW — Volume isn”t improving, but should start expanding above .0062 if the Cup & Handle programmed we discussed yesterday is playing out.
We”ll review these and other Marijuana stocks, as well as our January Effect candidates, during Wednesday morning”s Livestock.

Monday”s Livestock introduced the 2014/2015 January Effect candidates, which I published this weekend (ARNA, ATTBF, BTU, CALL, CBIS, CDE, CLF, GBLX, GSK, NCT, OCN, PBR, RIG, SODA, WLT).

Also reviewed were:
ATTBF — Also a January Effect candidate… Discussed the detail of its current downleg, and what must be recovered to reverse the trend up.
TRTC — Discussed the pullback extending, and why it didn”t make the cut for January Effect candidates.
CNAB — Discussed why it didn”t make the cut for January Effect candidates.
MCIG — Prior to recovering .28 resistance, now attacking .205 support that must hold to maintain the recovery attempt without needing to probe fresh lows.
STEV — Still the only Marijuana stock I”m comfortable buying on attacks of .08 support. But that”s not to dismiss for an indefinite time not yet recovering above .10.
DEWM — Last week”s surge corrected 61.8% and is now trying to resume the rally.
IGRW — Cup & Handle pattern forming. Came very close to including in the January Effect report.
