Bigger Picture

The FOMC has spoken, and the broader market”s reaction barely budged. Without falling apart itself, there won”t be much outside pressure to push our stocks down artificially to attractive support. Still monitoring… Other situations:
PHOT — The .135 dip to .19 recovery setup is working on being a two-day affair, after all. Having bounced to .199, the pattern should now close above .175 to help confirm the dip is done.
GWPH — Price action since the open”s surge (which was triggered by Morgan Stanley reminding everyone of what it said last week) has formed an Ascending Triangle. I will short either a reaction down from attacking 73 above, or a break under 70.25.
ATTBF — Getting late in the day to finally test .88, assuming it will be tested, and to still have time for reacting up. In lieu of that deeper dip, I will consider buying strength above .94.

Is it Livedesk time? Why, yes. Yes, I think it is. Almost.. 11:20 ET.

TRTC — Gapping up on news, would consider buying a dip to .52, but beware potential for retest of low.
FITX — Is this the .085 break that finally makes .105 resistance again? Support is .089.
TTDZ — Opening surge is attacking its 0.037 resistance.
ATTBF — Might average down at .88 depending upon conditions.

Generally, I would like to see a bottom form from trial by fire, and less like this morning”s willing bullishness. But I would like to start nibbling where there seems to be interest.

Today”s issue is a little different than usual, in at least two ways. Firstly, there are 60 stocks covered, instead of the usual 7-11. And secondly, almost all have “Knife Catch” parameters. If a retest of two-week lows is going to hold and form a durable bottom, fresh lows intraday would be natural. The scarier they appear, the better.

Below you”ll find a handy reference of the symbols, with asterisks(*) beside the more attractive setups. Support and resistance is also noted. Support is the lowest I would consider an intraday dip to be recoverable. Exceeding resistance on expanding volume would be bullish.
