A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Thursday’s Jobless Claims offer the first touchstone for validating Friday’s Employment Situation report, albeit indirectly, so it might not be influential. It is released simultaneously with two other reports, one of which is Retail Sales, which can be influential if its number surprises. The 10:00am post-open reports might be influential only for being released simultaneously.
