A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Retails sales data before the open could reflect weakness in-line with several other reports from last week. Otherwise, Tuesday’s only other potential pitfall is the noon hour’s auction. Not that a 3-year note should be difficult to place. But any difficulty will be extrapolated into fearing greater difficulty from Wednesday’s 10-year and Thursday’s 30-year.
