Highlights: The week’s earlier reactions to other employment data will have been instructive for what to expect on the monthly Employment Situation report. The post-open Factory Orders report may be uninfluential.

Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: It’s not “the” Retail Sales report, but there are two pre-open glimpses of retail sales. And it was Retail Sales several weeks ago that surprised to the downside. It wasn’t confirmed immediately, but later data has. That later data was housing prices, which brings us to the Home Price Index also scheduled. The two post-open items scheduled might not be the day’s most disruptive element.
