Highlights: A very busy day ahead. Two pre-open reports will give another chance to check the market’s mood ahead of Friday’s Employment Situation report. But the trifecta hits at 10:00 with multiple high-profile reports announcing simultaneously post-open.

Highlights: Look for the ADP report to offer a glimpse of how the market might react to Friday’s Employment Situation report. The real challenge will be the post-open PMI, coming after just 15 minutes instead of 30 minutes.

Highlights: It’s not “the” Retail Sales report, but there are two pre-open glimpses of retail sales. And it was Retail Sales several weeks ago that surprised to the downside. It wasn’t confirmed immediately, but later data has. That later data was housing prices, which brings us to the Home Price Index also scheduled. The two post-open items scheduled might not be the day’s most disruptive element.
