Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Of course, the Employment Situation report is the day’s highlight. Wholesale Trade is interesting only for its post-open timing. I don’t often reference Fed Presidents and Governors speaking engagements. But so many in such a narrow time frame (they’re all at separate events) might keep the market on edge.

Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: The impending Employment Situation Report makes participants thirsty for any advance insight. Private and public reports will try to quench that. Last week’s natty gas inventories had a bearish effect, so this week’s should be watched widely.

Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: With the one-week delay in seeing last month’s Employment Situation report, the Challenger and ADP items should be more influential than normal. ISM is widely watched already. Price action normally becomes restrained ahead of he afternoon’s FOMC Minutes. The report has regained its influence on price action with the perception of an improving economy.
