Pre-market Tour – Page 119 – If, Then… Market Timing

Pre-market Tour

Pre-market Tour (recording & summary)

One pullback off the 2252.75 overnight high had attacked this morning’s 2248.00 bias-up signal as support. Its bounce was retraced to pierce under 2248.00. The next bounce was a little bigger, but also briefer. And the resulting pattern continues to range choppily around 2250.00.

Details and other markets coverage are discussed in the pre-market Tour recording here.

Pre-market Tour (recording & summary)

Recovering from the overnight test of 2243.00 extended briefly to a fresh session high attacking 2247.75. Its reaction down to unchanged at 2245.25 has held. It should continue to hold, or be probed only momentarily as low as 2243.50, to isolate the overnight low. Otherwise, beware of a potential air pocket if the overnight low is retested.

Pre-market Tour (recording & summary)

Consolidating just under yesterday afternoon’s highs, at this morning’s 2266.50 bias-up signal, has started poking higher pre-open to 2267.50. The rally should soon be obvious in resuming if it’s resuming. Not triggering bias-up would point down, but also likely reverse momentum into the weekend.

Pre-market Tour (recording & summary)

Consolidating at the 2261.25 bias-up signal’s resistance has broken higher ahead of the open, now touching 2262.50. None of which changes that the bias-up signal doesn’t actually trigger until 10:15. None of which changes that the two prior opens rejected overnight higher highs. And none of which changes that last Wednesday’s “higher prior lows” can present resistance starting at 2263.00. Just maintaining the gap up could at least create an anchor to help absorb a morning dip. Otherwise, trending back down through the open would suggest another downdraft into tomorrow’s open.

Pre-market Tour (recording & summary)

2260.50-2262.00 had been tested overnight up to 2261.00. Its reaction down has extended back to and through the Globex open’s 2257.50 low — which is also yesterday’s cash session close — to 2255.50. And support there looks sketchy. None of which assures extending under relevant support or above relevant resistance, any more so than opening mid-range assures not breaking out. But any trending today is likely to be this morning, and any trending this morning is likely to be obvious through the open.
