Signals for ES on Jun 2, 2017

Friday’s post-open surge recovered to touch a 2433.25 buy signal, but not trigger it. Its reaction down tested and teased at the 2429.25 sell signal, but never by enough at an appropriate time to suggest its sponsorship was strong-handed. By default, a rally had become increasingly likely. Its objectives were met into and during the noon hour, before the afternoon ranged sideways into the weekend.

Gapping up Thursday didn’t extend higher immediately, but the morning’s bias environment never probed back under the open’s low. that leaved the bias environment’s 11:30 exit vulnerable to a breakout at 2417.50, which extended almost relentlessly to its 2426.50 target. A late buy signal was too late to qualify for a “hold-long overnight” setup, despite extending through the close.

Signals for ES on May 31, 2017

Attempting to gap up Wednesday had only a brief window to extend higher, or else to be reversed back into the range. The setup is high-confidence, and encourages early action. Its 2314.25 entry.extended quickly to its 2404.25 objective. The balance of the session ranged narrower and narrower, but still triggered several small reversal signals throughout. A late trigger above 2408.50 extended more than 3 points, and narrowly avoided a hold-long overnight setup.

Signals for ES on May 30, 2017

Friday’s incredibly narrow range had its upper-end probed Sunday night. But the 3-day holiday weekend kept away sponsorship for trending, and Tuesday’s first day back wasn’t much different. A quick setup at the open met its 2-point target, as did a later signal back to session lows. Yet another 2-piont move was a little longer coming. The afternoon remained constrained by the 2415.00 target’s resistance.

Signals for ES on May 26, 2017

I was away from the screens on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, so no signals were displayed. The market was compliant to my absence — probably to a lot of participants’ absences — and ranged extremely narrowly into the weekend.
