A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Those silly Mayans. They put the “expiration” into option expiration. This one may be among the most volatile in some time, considering the influences. Not only fiscal cliff headlines and deadlines, but also five econ reports staggered throughout the morning. Expiration usually doesn’t have to navigate and absorb any econ reports. Anyway, if the Mayans were right about there being no tomorrow, then drinks are on me!
