Look ahead: Economic Calendar

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Friday’s calendar is the trickiest to navigate, and that’s not saying much for this otherwise slow economic week. FOMC had to leak and pre-release its Minutes to liven things up earlier. Two pre-open reports are announced simultaneously, looking at both ends of the spectrum, from industrial to retail. And that retail data is of continued interest as consumer health is suspicious. Speaking of which, the post-open reports similarly look at both ends of the spectrum, albeit staggered by 5 minutes in between.
