A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Monday’s pre-open report is a reflection of consumer health, which has not been good recently. A positive surprise could impact price action, but probably not bad news. The post-open Home Sales index has similar consequences for similar reasons. But the regional fed survey is only interesting, and now influential.
