A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Monday’s Housing Market Index didn’t have much lasting effect on price action, perhaps because it isn’t so widely watched as Tuesday morning’s Housing Starts. Investor Confidence isn’t very influential, but its timing – coming after the open – does allow a surprise to impact the market.
