A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: The only surprise from Wednesday’s MBA apps would be an uptick. That, and Tuesday’s housing sector data will have set the stage for a reaction to Housing Starts. The balance of the session should be range bound ahead of the afternoon’s FOMC announcement and Bernanke’s press conference. Is it taper, yet?
