Look ahead: Economic Calendar – If, Then… Market Timing

Look ahead: Economic Calendar

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Thursday’s weekly Jobless Claims will be delayed in case the government shutdown hasn’t yet been resolved. Even if it were, the data collection process probably wouldn’t be complete. Given this week’s Treasury auctions, the 30-year placement will likely inhibit price action before its results are announced. UPDATE: JOBLESS CLAIMS ARE PLANNED FOR NORMAL RELEASE.
