Look ahead: Economic Calendar

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Friday’s PPI is released by the BLS, so unless the GOP agrees to a clean CR, those SOBs won’t release so much as a P, let alone the whole PPI. The same can be said for Business Inventories, but not so succinctly, as it comes from Census. Meanwhile, Retail Sales and Consumer Sentiment data are scheduled for normal release, just another example of the private sector doing what government cannot.
