A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: September’s Employment Situation report missed its normally scheduled release date due to the government shutdown. Already having unusual timing, it will be released Tuesday morning, an unusual day of the week for the market to be absorbing and reacting to the weightiest econ report. And it is the only high-profile influential report of the day.
