A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: The pre-open FOMC committee member speaker is a centrist, so he can surprise markets only if he were to strenuously endorse one particular policy path, and then probably only tapering. His pre-open remarks are book-ended by a hawkish committee member speaking before noon. The interim two reports both have track records for influencing price action.
