Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Wednesday morning’s pre-open CPI often influences price action. It is announced simultaneously with Retail Sales, and later comes Home Sales, each influencing price action only when their data are very surprising. There is a Senate panel discussing financial holding companies regulations, which could influence the market since Banks have been jockeying for leadership in the rally. But the afternoon’s FOMC Minutes is likely to be the session’s highlight.
