Look ahead: Economic Calendar

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: It’s a holiday-shortened week, so the econ report flood continues. So does the dual EIA reporting. Two of 8:30’s three pre-open reports have a track record of influencing price action. So does Chicago PMI, one of the 9:45’s two reports (Bloomberg is wholly irrelevant). The hits keep coming as the first half-hour ends, with two more staggered influential reports. It’s a complete session, but participation will begin thinning noticeably as the afternoon approaches.
