A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Markets are closed globally Wednesday for Christmas Day. S&P futures do not resume trading until Thursday morning at 6:00AM ET. Even then, not all markets re-open — markets like London and Tokyo’s remain closed for Boxing Day.
