A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Not been halted since Tuesday’s early close and through Christmas day, S&P futures resume trading at Thursday’s modified 6:00am open. Liquidity will be pressured by markets like London and Tokyo’s that remain closed for Boxing Day. Note that EIA reports are pushed back one day each.
