Look ahead: Economic Calendar – If, Then… Market Timing

Look ahead: Economic Calendar

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: In addition to being announced simultaneously, Thursday’s two pre-open reports are high-profile and influential. I’m not sure, but they might also be accompanied by the embargo being lifted on Yellen’s opening remarks to the rescheduled Senate portion of the FOMC Chairman’s semi-annual Congressional testimony. That was the plan before cancelling her appearance ahead of blizzard conditions. In any case, her comments are likely to bullish for stocks and Gold, so a temporary or muted reaction would be a bearish indication.
