A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: A bevy of housing sector data pummels Tuesday’s open. Its three reports speak to consumer health, as do the day’s two retail reports, not to mention the post-open Consumer Confidence. So many looks at the same subject can’t all be in agreement, so notable strength or weakness in an early report is likely to foretell the reaction to others.
