A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Tuesday’s reports have no track record for influencing price action, not without being a surprise. They’re not even known for inhibiting price action prior to reporting. But the afternoon does bring out a lonely hawkish Fed speaker, and that can chill volatility or rallying ahead of the event.
