Look ahead: Economic Calendar

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

The market is accustomed to absorbing some news items on specific days. Employment Situation normally comes on Friday, one day following Jobless Claims, just before volume thins out ahead of the weekend, usually accompanied by just one other econ report. But June’s Employment report is scheduled for Thursday due to the three-day holiday weekend. Its release comes simultaneously with Jobless Claims, just before two other reports and several auctions. Fun!
