A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Friday’s two consumer snapshots (Consumer Sentiment and LEI) were considered in the context of the week’s big Retail Sales miss. Monday morning’s two retail metrics (Goldman and Redbook) are staggered with CPI, so expect much comparing. Two housing sector data are also staggered after the consumer reports, not terribly high-profile or influential, except for being part of the day’s focus.
