A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: This is not your typical Friday calendar. High-profile, influential reports are scheduled both pre-open and post-open. It should be noted that the afternoon Fed speaker was previously more of a centrist than a dove, and there are more and more doves lately sounding centrist — or hawkish. very one of Kocherlakota’s speeches in this environment could inhibit price action anticipating his turn, too. Imagine the rally in reaction to him reinforcing his dovish posture, or the decline if he doesn’t and the market wasn’t inhibited enough.
