A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: The president is scheduled to address the nation regarding his plans to confront ISIS. Don’t forget the rally’s current upleg began after his prior nighttime address on the same topic that pushed the last downleg to fresh lows… Jobless Claims used to be reliable for triggering a market reaction, but it has become almost reliable for the opposite. The 30-year auction is likely to inhibit price action before its results, but later influence will be limited to a poor showing.
