A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Any obvious reaction to the first day’s Humphrey-Hawkins testimony is often contrary to the second day’s reaction. But as with the first day, Bernanke’s opening statement is disseminated before he speaks, so any later reaction is by weak hands.
