Look ahead: Economic Calendar

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

The Employment Situation report used to be the month’s most influential econ report. It probably still is. But several other metrics have gained in influence as traders look everywhere for signs of recovery, and not just at the bell weather for signs of weakness. Regardless, the report’s biggest reaction might come before the cash session open, but probably not its only reaction.
