A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: The news flow gets back to normal with a relatively high-profile item before the open, two then simultaneously, and another 30 minutes after the open. Then price action become subdued before the afternoon’s FOMC Minutes. We can’t count on that anymore as in the past, since this report’s effects have also become more subdued.
