A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: A busy day of econ reports will keep things interesting after pre-open earnings announcements. Two home sales reports follow Monday’s big drop. And two of the 10:00 reports are high-profile and likely to disrupt any initial trending, either accelerating its pace or reversing it. Meanwhile, the FOMC meeting begins, so look for a focus on bonds.
