Look ahead: Economic Calendar

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: The post-open item isn’t as relevant as the pre-open item. But it can be more disruptive to any initial trending for two reasons. First is its usually unusual timing of coming 5 minutes before the hour. Second is its relation to the recently controversial Retail Sales anomaly, which the market can’t afford to see justified.
