A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Following Monday’s empty econ calendar, Tuesday’s schedule is deceptively busy. But it’s items aren’t much higher profile than nothing at all. Of course, then comes the afternoon’s FOMC announcement. Normally price action might settle down ahead of the event, but this environment might have gotten too ripe for that.
