Look ahead: Economic Calendar

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: That’s quite the little minefield for this low-volume environment to tip-toe through. Each of the morning’s first three items are high-profile, two are post-open and one is oddly-timed… Further complicating matters is that the third, Pending Home Sales, follows some ugly data earlier this week. Price action ahead of it might be inhibited from trending, or could be extra pessimistic. Then confirming the fears, or not confirming, would definitely affect its reaction. We’ll go over this in real-time in the chartroom.
