Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: This week’s heavy calendar continues Tuesday, with the President’s address to the nation Monday night. Despite having no market relevance, price action may be inhibited before it and then released afterward.
As for Tuesday proper, the morning’s Housing Price Index has a two-month lag, so it might seem more optimistic than last week’s more recent housing metrics that were bearish. This might allow an opportunity to fade its knee-jerk reaction. The post-open items are influential, too.
