A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: The busiest weekly econ calendar since founding the United States of America continues Thursday (or, so it seems). Two looks at consumer health, two looks at employment ahead of Friday’s big report, and then two post-open looks at industry. Although often the reaction to pre-open reports tends to set the tone for post-open, the later industry metrics could be surprising compared to the earlier consumer data.
