A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Only PPI among Wednesday’s pre-open reports has a history of influencing price action. But when MBA or Retail Sales surprises, they really surprise since that is so unusual. The post-open Business Inventories report is not influential. But awaiting the 30-year auction results could inhibit noon hour volatility.
