A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Wednesday’s post-open Existing Home Sales covers August’s results. Two items this week preceded it that gave more recent snapshots of Homebuilding, so this report is less likely to surprise than it is to confirm… After that reaction has died down, setups will be somewhat less reliable too far ahead of the afternoon’s FOMC Meeting Announcement (Bernanke’s quarterly conference is scheduled next for November).
