Look ahead: Economic Calendar

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Tuesday’s two pre-open retail metrics aren’t normally high-profile, but they may be now since last week’s Retail Sales data did shock the market. HPI is already high-profile, and also comes at an unusual pre-open time for econ reports. Two of the four simultaneous 10:00 reports are high-profile and tend to impact price action. Even the 1:00 note auction is far enough out the yield curve that it can’t be taken for granted.
