A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Only two report on Friday, but they’re reasonably high-profile. And there is no pre-open item to set the tone, making their reaction less predictable — and potentially more volatile. On top of it all, Consumer Sentiment’s unusual time can blind-side the market, especially if its number surprises. New Home Sales coming right behind it can mimic a one-two punch.
