A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Wednesday’s calendar is active throughout the day. Interestingly, though, not so much pre-open — the two pre-open items do not tend to influence price action. But the Chicago PMI is followed by Bernanke’s testimony, and the afternoon keeps things alive with the Beige Book.
