A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Mondays are normally slow for economic news. Not this week. Two Fed speeches precede the open, along with a potentially volatile report. Then two more potentially volatile reports follow, one of them (home sales) being high-profile. That’s a lot for a Monday to absorb.
