A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Wednesday morning’s pre-open items  don’t normally influence price action. Any reaction would likely subside quickly, anyway, as anxiousness ahead of the afternoon’s FOMC spotlight tends to constrain price action. And it should. This announcement comes during the noon hour, and is followed by Bernanke’s Q&A.
