Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Bernanke’s second-half of his congressional testimony tends not to influence price action before it begins. This gives Wednesday’s pre-open, high-profile report room to influence price action. His opening remarks being released at 10:00 tend to trigger some sort of reaction. Any other reaction to his testimony would be a function of him contradicting or walking back earlier comments from that had their own reaction.
