A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Friday’s pre-open report is high-profile, but is not reliable for predicting the reaction to the post-open item. And that item’s off-timing at 5 minutes before the top of the hour increases its influence on price action. It should either accelerate or reverse any trending already underway.
