A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Friday”s two pre-open reports have no track record for influencing price action, but the post-open items do. Chicago PMI is released privately to its institutional subscribers, whose surprise always impacts price action. The number”s public release several minutes later tends to duplicate or exacerbate the institutional reaction. Consumer Sentiment is also an influential report.
