A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Monday”s pre-open Fed survey is high-profile, but doesn”t have a track record for influencing price action. Not normally. None of them do, except for the Philly Fed. But the Empire State survey did, which might be a function of the hypersensitivity to the upcoming FOMC meeting.
