A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Golden week continues to keep exchanges closed in China, and now Germany is also closed for the day. There’s also a dearth of high-profile and/or influential econ reports. The lone exception is a Fed speaker. Trending on U.S. exchanges may be difficult, so trending to support or resistance may be likelier to reverse back in the opposite direction.
